OUR SIGIL

A sigil is a symbol or design created with the intention of manifesting a specific desire, intention, or goal. It is often used as a tool for focused visualization and concentration. Sigils are typically created by combining and rearranging letters, symbols, or images into a unique and personalized emblem. The process of creating a sigil involves imbuing it with intent and charging it with energy, with the belief that it can aid in the manifestation of desires or bring about desired outcomes. Sigils are often used in rituals, meditation, and spellwork as a means of harnessing and directing personal energy.

This sigil was created by combining the two stylised vowels (A and U) in the band’s name, which is pronounced “magus.” The use of Roman script, styled to look as if carved from stone, required the use of uppercase letters and a V shape to represent U.

Together, A and U also represent gold (Aurum, atomic number 79) on the periodic table of elements. This leads nicely into the next symbol…

SUN / GOLD

This is an in-house developed representation of the sun in Astrology. It also represents both the sun and gold in Alchemy.
